Starting as a company specializing in precision spindles, SMSB has now acquired extensive know-how related to the development of spindles from many years experience. This know how includes expert techniques about bearings and technologies for developing spindles for ultra-precision, high rotation, long-lifespan; all of which are core parts for machine tools.
Besides high-precision grinding spindles, we also develop spindles for extensive processing machinery, and design and supply spindle units specialized for special specifications.
In addition, we have frequently engaged in joint development efforts in relation to ultra precision grinding machines for precision processed parts such as automotive parts and bearings, and successfully carried out a retrofitting project to upgrade the world’s best precision grinding machines. We also strive to develop high-speed, high-efficiency and high-productivity internal and external grinding machines that have resulted in outstanding performances in terms of the development of diverse and innovative facilities and sales.
